Niger Delta Press Corps Congratulates Adesola on his Redeployment

The Niger Delta Press Corps (NDPC), has congratulated the newly redeployed Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs in Nigeria, Mr Olusade Adesola on his redeployment, saying it is a round peg in round hole.

The chairperson of the association, Lulu Bankong said the wealth of experience he is bringing to the ministry will be highly invaluable having worked in the Ministry of Youth and Sports where he is mostly responsible to the public for every of their action.

Lulu who noted that Olusade’s Vision is in line With President Buhari Anti Corruption Agenda further stated that “he is the best thing that could ever happen to the Niger Delta because his statement on assumption of office shows his sign of intent and that he is ready to work with everybody in achieving the objective of creating the ministry”.

She however urged him to avoid the pitfalls of the past permanent secretaries so that posterity can judge him well.

Olusade on assumption immediately insisted that the bidding process for contract must be transparent while instructing the Director of Procurement to put all information on the website.

He also went further to charge the Head of Human Resources to make room for regular meeting among the management staff a norm in other to know the challenges faced by each department.

The Niger Delta Press Corp is looking forward to fruitful relationship between, the agencies under the ministry and all stakeholders in the Niger Delta Region.
