NDLEA Receives Anti-Substance Abuse Comic Book from HURIWA

Abuja, Nigeria – February 6, 2025 – The Chairman/CEO of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd) CON, OFR, received a delegation from the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA) at the Agency’s National Headquarters in Abuja.

During the visit, Comrade Emmanuel Onwubiko, National Coordinator of HURIWA, presented copies of their anti-substance abuse comic children’s book to the NDLEA boss. This initiative aims to educate children about the dangers of substance abuse and promote a drug-free lifestyle.

The NDLEA, under the leadership of Brig. Gen. Marwa, has been at the forefront of the fight against drug abuse and trafficking in Nigeria. This partnership with HURIWA is a significant step towards preventing drug abuse among young people and promoting a safer, healthier society.

As the NDLEA continues to work tirelessly to combat drug-related crimes, collaborations like this demonstrate the importance of collective efforts in addressing this critical issue.
