Katsina State State Government will not retreat nor surrender in it’s fight against banditry activities

The Katsina State State Government has assured that it will not retreat nor surrender in it’s fight against banditry activities

The Deputy Governor Malam Faruk Lawal said this when he condoled the family of late Malam Masaudu of Kwanar Dutse village in Safana Local Government Area.

Malam Masaudu an officer katsina in the community watch corps Lost his Life on duty while trying to repel an attack by bandit’s on Wednesday.

He was working along side his colleagues and members of vigilante group in the area when the incident happened.

Late Malam Masaudu was described as a galant and dedicated officer of community watch corps.

He has since been buried according to islamic injunction.

The Deputy Governor Malam Faruk Lawal while extending his condolences salute the courage of the slain officer and prayed for Allah’s Mercy on him.

He reinstated the determination of the State government to continue supporting security operatives to get rid of banditry activities in the State.

He reaffirms that the present  administration will not enter into any negotiation with bandits anymore.

Malam Faruk lawal stressed that they will be chased out where ever they are hiding and there will be no sacred cow.

He further called for community support through provision of relevant information to authorities to achieve set objectives.

The community of kwanar Dutse appreciated the condolences and reassured support to the government towards ensuring bandit’s Free communities.

Meanwhile the Deputy Governor condoled Alhaji Awwalu Sada Safana over the death of his daughter Fiddausi Sada.
Aged 32 years, Fiddausi died after a brief illness.
She left behind 3 children her husband, parents and relations and has since been buried according to Islamic injunctions .
May Allah shower Mercy on her.
