The Special Adviser, Imo Diaspora Affairs in Nigeria, Hon Celia Osakwe-Hibbett yesterday joined in the unveiling of the only corporate Female Football Club In Imo State, Angels Football Club. 

In a media chat with NEWS DOT AFRICA, Hon Celia stated, “Part of fighting inequalities against women is creating opportunities for us. Today, the 28th of November as part of celebrating #OrangeCampaign, I’m proud to have joined the unveiling of the only corporate Female Football Club In Imo State, ANGELS FOOTBALL CLUB. I’m even prouder to have been found worthy of being an Ambassador for this club along side other Internationalist like Chioma Ajunwa”.

Hon. Councillor Celia Osakwe-Hibbert,  also kicked off as the striker in today’s novelty match. SA Diaspora played with the new team until half time. Stay tuned for more on this. SA DIASPORA wears an Orange Boot for the match to show solidarity for the on going #OrangeCampaign
