Gen Musa, Matawalle, Other Dignitaries Attend Passing-Out Parade of 73 Regular Course

The Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa (rtd.), OFR, and the Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, MON, on Saturday attended the Combined Passing-Out Parade of the 73 Regular Course and other military training courses.
The ceremony, held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, brought together graduating officers from the 73 Regular Course, Short Service Course 49 (Army), Direct Short Service Course 34 (Air Force), and Branch Commission Course 3 (Air Force).
The Defence ministers joined other dignitaries at the event, which was led by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas.
Abbas represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, who was the Special Guest of Honour at the ceremony.
The passing-out parade marked the formal completion of military training by the graduating officers and their transition into commissioned service in the Nigerian Armed Forces.
The event also provided an opportunity for senior government officials and military authorities to witness the parade and recognise the newly commissioned officers as they begin their professional careers in the service of the nation.
