FGN Commends DG NiMet For Judicious Use Of Budgetary Allocation
The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika has commended the Director -General/CEO of Nigerian Meteorological Agency NiMet Prof. Mansur Bako Matazu for his judicious use of budgetary allocation so far released to his Agency.
The Minister disclosed this in a letter with Ref No FMA/HQ/ SA/P/005/1//3, dated 23rd November, 2022 and addressed to Prof. Matazu and signed by the Special Assistant, Projects, to the Honourable Minister, stating that he is
Impressed with Prof. Matazu’s stewardship.
“The Honourable Minister is impressed with your stewardship and “commends your justification for the judicious utilization of the allocation so far released to your Agency for the execution of these projects”, the letter reads.
It would be recalled that upon assumption of office over a year ago, Prof. Matazu made a compilation of projects to be executed with the required time line. Upon completion, these projects were then compiled and forwarded to the parent ministry as a Compendium of Projects by NiMet.
