Dr Adalikwu meets New IMO Secretary General

Secretary General, The Maritime Organization of West and Central Africa (MOWCA), on Friday had an introductory meeting with the new Secretary General of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), Mr. Arsenio A. Dominguez in London.

The Maritime Organization of West and Central Africa (MOWCA) is the regional arm of IMO with headquarters in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire was established on 7th May 1975 as an intergovernmental Organization, through the Abidjan Maritime Transport Charter by the Council of Ministers of Transport of 25 member States in the West and Central African sub-region. This comprised of 20 Coastal States and 5 landlocked States namely Burkina Faso, Niger, Chad, Mali and Central Africa Republic.
