He was positioned to take over the baton from Imoke in 2015 but the Bet9ja game was cut short by the emergence of Senator Ben Ayade.

The “Three Wise Men” are regrouping again to make sure their unwritten agreement to govern Cross River State Turn-By-Turn is actualized in 2023 with Senator Gershom Bassey .

Somebody should tell them that a lot of water has passed through the political pipes of Cross River State while they were away. While some pipes were vandalized, some got rust and couldn’t be fixed.

Someone should whisper to them that Cross Riverians now have a different political mentality, away from pre-1999 when they stormed the State in their thirties and grabbed power to themselves.

Someone should tell them that Cross River State is no longer a “One Party State”.

They should be made to understand that we the people of Cross River State will choose our Governor in 2023 and not them.

By now they should have known that Cross Riverians are more politically aware and not so naive and gullible to allow them dictate for the entire State their Unwritten Turn-By-Turn Governorship without any challenge.

2023 is heavily pregnant!
