Fondly known as “Ojiugo” in Uga and Ufuma communities of Anambra State, Lady Pauline’s inspiring journey began as the last daughter of Mr. Lucius and Mrs. Clarise Anuna of Enuguago, Ufuma. Raised with strong values of discipline, compassion, integrity, and hard work, she grew into a woman whose impact continues to resonate across generations.

Lady Pauline was one of the pioneer teachers in the FCDA Education Department, contributing immensely to the educational development of Nigeria’s emerging Federal Capital Territory.

Through dedication and professionalism, she rose to the position of Headmistress and later led Kuje Primary School, earning admiration as an exceptional educational administrator.

Mrs Abanobi and her late husband were among the pioneering families that answered the national call to settle in the new Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. She proudly holds the distinction of being the first lady to arrive at the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) and, alongside her husband, formed the first married couple within that pioneering community.

Their contributions helped shape not only the physical growth of Abuja but also its social and spiritual foundations.
Driven by vision and courage, Lady Pauline later ventured into entrepreneurship, where she distinguished herself as a successful businesswoman and mentor. Through various thriving businesses established in Abuja, she created opportunities for many and inspired countless women to pursue enterprise with confidence and determination.

Her commitment to faith and service remains unwavering. She made history as the first President of the Catholic Women Organisation (CWO) in Abuja, helping to establish a strong platform for women’s spiritual and social empowerment. She also served as a former President of the Nigerian Association of Women Entrepreneurs, where she mentored women in leadership and business development.

A Noble Lady of the Order of St. John, Lady Pauline’s devotion to the church and humanitarian service has earned her admiration and respect within the Catholic community and beyond.
Widely celebrated as a dependable mentor, benefactor, and mother figure, Lady Pauline has sponsored religious vocations, supported families relocating to Abuja, and extended love and care to countless individuals who proudly regard her as their mother.

A proud mother of five sons and grandmother of five grandchildren, her enduring legacy lies not only in her accomplishments but also in the lives she has touched through generosity, guidance, and unwavering faith.
