CABA Executive Director Congratulates Plateau State on Africa’s First Climate Assembly

The Executive Director, Climate Adaptation Business Alliance (CABA), Mr Suleiman Dikwa has congratulated Plateau State on establishing Africa’s first Climate Assembly. He commended the its pioneering spirit and dedication to climate resilience and pledged to leverage his experience and network to support the realization of the assembly’s objectives

Plateau State has achieved a significant milestone in climate governance by establishing Africa’s first Climate Assembly. This pioneering initiative showcases the state’s commitment to climate resilience and sustainable development.

Plateau State has become the first in Africa to establish a Climate Assembly, demonstrating its leadership in climate governance.

The assembly provides a platform for inclusive, participatory climate governance, empowering communities and stakeholders to shape resilient policies.

The initiative exemplifies visionary leadership and a commitment to transforming climate challenges into opportunities for sustainable growth.The Plateau Climate Assembly is expected to serve as a model for effective climate governance across the continent.

The Executive Director also commended their technical partner Fundlink Aid International for the massive support to CABA. “Your critical support is why we are celebrating today” he said.
