Bangladesh High Commission in Abuja Attends 40th Kano International Trade Fair

The Bangladesh High Commission in Abuja, Nigeria attended the 40th Kano International Trade Fair which took place from 26 November-10 December, 2019.

The High Commission put up a large Stall to showcase the export potentials of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh in line with the policy of the government to vigorously pursue “Trade and Economic Diplomacy”.

Many Products from different companies based in Bangladesh were exhibited.

The High Commissioner of the Bangladesh High Commission in Nigeria, His Excellency Shammem Ahsan said among the companies that donated products were Walton, Monno Ceramics, ACI Bangladesh Ltd. and Mondol Group (Appollo Fashions Ltd). He thanked them for donating exhibits to the Commercial Display Room which helped them to showcase their export-oriented high quality products at the Bangladesh Stall.

“Many thanks to our community in Kano for volunteering to share time to host the Bangladesh Pavillion. Our diaspora members are with us to help project and promote our country” he said.

The beautifully decorated pavilion drew huge crowd each day including the commissioner  for Labor of kano.
The High Commission also organized a Trade and Investment Seminar on the sideline of the Expo on 8 December, 2019.
