APC Celebrates First Lady Oluremi Tinubu at 66, Hails Her as Pillar of Support to President

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday anniversary.
In a press statement issued on Sunday, September 21, 2026, from Abuja and signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, CON, the ruling party described the First Lady as an exceptional leader, compassionate mother of the nation, and steadfast pillar us of support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The party said Mrs. Tinubu remains a trusted confidante and invaluable source of strength to the President from his pro-democracy era to his Presidency.
The APC highlighted her lifelong dedication to public service, from her tenure as First Lady of Lagos State to her distinguished years in the Nigerian Senate, noting that it reflects grace, vision, patriotism, and unwavering commitment to Nigerians.
According to the statement, through the New Era Foundation and her flagship programme, the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), the First Lady has continued to uplift vulnerable populations, empower women and youths, and drive progress in education, agriculture, healthcare, and social welfare across the country.
“Her passion for humanitarian service and national development remains a beacon of inspiration,” the statement said.
The party prayed for many more years of excellent health, wisdom, strength, and joy for the First Lady to continue serving Nigeria and humanity.
Senator Oluremi Tinubu, born September 21, 1960, served as First Lady of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007 and as Senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District from 2011 to 2023 before becoming First Lady of Nigeria in May 2023.
