Alistair Soyode To Speak At Africa Youth summit 2019

Alistair Soyode, founder of Bright Entertainment Network (BEN) television, the first Ethnic, African and Caribbean-focused television channel in Europe operating from the United Kingdom, is billed to speak at Africa Youth summit coming up on 29-30 November, 2019.

BEN TV’s mix of entertainment, news and sports programs has been a source of information and inspiration to millions of Nigerians and Africans in the Diaspora.

Soyode is a former Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation (NIDOE) in Europe, set up by the Nigerian government in 2000 to unite and bring together Nigerians living abroad with interest towards national development.

Alistair Soyode is currently an Executive Leader in African and Nigerians in Diaspora leadership forum and The Chief Mentor of Nigerians in Diaspora Mentoring Corp.

As an initiator of the African Business Roundtable in Europe, he was instrumental to the publishing of Invest Africa, in association with Alhaji Bamanga Tukur’s NEPAD Business Group. He is also a board member of the Dynamic Agrosol organisation. A private sector led organisation dealing with farmers, agricultural mechanisation and ensuring fair policies. He has interest in sports and entertainments.

A well-known speaker, who takes delight in mobilising youths to rise up as leaders of tomorrow and explore entrepreneurship. His media platform has been a focal point to the emergence of African entertainment, Nollywood and musical icons in the Diaspora.

Comrade Soyode is a pivotal member of the UK’s black community, bridging the gap between the mainstream and grass-roots. He is an Entrepreneur, Business Mentor, Motivational Speaker, Broadcaster, Africa’s Patriot and Sport Enthusiast.

He founded BEN Television, which is transmitting few leading broadcasting channels from Africa into Europe, and an expert in global affairs.

A self-motivated and taught person, well-organised with practical experience in Management, Broadcasting and Media; Business Development & Consultancy, Governance and Leadership, Sales, PR Project Management,  Research and Sport Management Executive.

He is a Fellow Of Institute For Local Government and Public Administration. He participated in the Nigeria’s 2019 election as a Presidential candidate with YES.

Mr Soyode was described by CNN as an Icon of Nigeria in 2010 (Nigeria at 50 Years of Independence).  From farming student to TV network CEO.
