AGE FALSIFICATION: Director suspended by UNICAL

The University of Calabar has suspended it’s Director, Directorate of Human Resource and Establishment (HR&E), Agatha Ikposhi over allegations of age falsification, records of service and defrauding the Federal Government of Nigeria.

The suspension as contained in a letter signed by the Registrar, Mr. Gabriel Egbe is due to her unconvincing response to the allegations against her by an Alumnus of the University.

The suspension takes effect Wednesday, March 16, 2022 and the matter referred to the Anti-Corruption And Transparency Unit(ACTU) for further investigation.
Mrs. Ikposhi is to hand over all University properties in her possession to an officer who has been named to take over from her and she is to be placed on half salary by the Bursar until the case is duly determined.

She has also been ordered to stay away from the school premises unless when asked to respond to ACTU
