The revered Bolaji Akinyemi has on many occasions (online and offline) been mistaken for elder statesman, Prof. Bolaji Akinyemi, but this Bolaji O Akinyemi we know is a Bastion of Hope for a New Nigeria. This Bolaji O Akinyemi is a Builder and Bridge between the Pentecostal forerunners and those in the Orthodox preparing the way for Christians and non Christians as well to move from passivity to fully participating in politics to make a difference. This Bolaji O Akinyemi we know is a Brother, Father, Teacher, Pastor and Mentor. This Bolaji O Akinyemi we know is a Bishop; husband of wife, biological father to his beautiful children and spiritual father of many, some of whom like myself have benefited immeasurably from his amity and magnanimity.

On behalf of your many spiritual children, mentees, adherents and followers, in Nigeria and diaspora, we use the occasion of this milestone birthday to say we are most grateful for the gift of you, Sir. The mileage you have reached in ministry as well as your motivations to see a New Nigeria is truly characteristic of Jesus Christ and we will not relent in walking the paths you have walked and going farther to make you proud for investing time and resources in us.
