NYSC DG Congratulates 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 Corps Members on Successful Completion of Service

The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has congratulated the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 Corps members on the successful completion of their one-year national service, commending their dedication, patriotism and contributions to national development.

The Director, Information and Public Relations. Caroline in a farewell message issued on behalf of the NYSC family and the nation noted that the Director General expressed appreciation for the corps members’ commitment and diligence, noting that their selfless service at their various Places of Primary Assignment positively impacted communities across the country and reflected the ideals of nation-building.

The NYSC boss urged the outgoing corps members to remain worthy ambassadors of the Scheme by upholding the values of discipline, unity, honour and integrity throughout their future endeavours.

The Director General also encouraged them to put into practical use the knowledge and skills acquired through the NYSC Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) Programme, stressing that the initiative provides a pathway for graduates to become successful entrepreneurs and employers of labour.

According to the message, the corps members were advised to remain committed to the vision of a united Nigeria, emphasising that building a better nation requires the collective dedication and contributions of all citizens.
“As you prepare to embark on the next phase of your journey, I wish you every success in your future endeavours. May the values of discipline, unity, and service you embraced during your service year continue to guide you and open new opportunities,” the Director General said.

The message concluded with a renewed call on the outgoing corps members to continue serving as agents of national unity and development, with the reminder that “Nigeria is ours; Nigeria we serve.”
