APC STAKEHOLDERS URGED TO PRIORITIZE PARTY UNITY

Amb. Musa Muhammed Tsoken, National Coordinator of the Asiwaju Again Renewed Hope Initiative 2027 and National President of the APC Initiative For Good Governance (APC-IGG), has called on stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State to prioritize party unity ahead of the party primaries and the 2027 general election.
Tsoken made the appeal at a stakeholders’ meeting held at the Exco Chamber, TY Danjuma House, Jalingo, emphasizing that unity is paramount for the party’s success.
“Our gathering at this pivotal moment, with our party’s primary elections in Taraba State approaching, our conduct in the coming days will determine whether we proceed united or divided,” Tsoken said.
He urged aspirants to maintain calm and engage constructively, noting that no ambition supersedes the unity of the APC in Taraba.
Tsoken also assured that concerns regarding recent congresses are being addressed, and solutions will be found.
The statement reads:
“Your Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas, Governor of Taraba State; Hon. Uba Ahmadu Maigari, Minister of State for Regional Development; Distinguished Members of the National and State Assemblies; Respected Party Leaders and Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC); Ladies and Gentlemen.
“We gather at a pivotal moment. With our party’s primary elections in Taraba State approaching, our conduct in the coming days will determine whether we proceed united or divided. I deliver this message because unity is paramount if we are to succeed.
“As leaders, your responsibility is clear: engage with party members, promote consensus candidates for all elective positions, and ensure a peaceful process. No ambition supersedes the unity of the APC in Taraba.
“I urge aspirants to maintain calm and engage constructively. While disagreements are inevitable, they must not undermine party unity. Concerns regarding recent congresses are being addressed, and solutions will be found.
“Our party transcends individual interests. After this session, we will hold a closed-door meeting with key stakeholders to finalize our approach.
“My charge is straightforward: prioritize Taraba and the APC. Let us unite behind consensus candidates and present a united front in the general election.
“May God guide us and grant us wisdom to choose unity and peace.
“Taraba APC delivered; Nigeria APC is the Answer.”
