Jani Ibrahim is an astute businessman, entrepreneur and engineer. His brilliant performance at Kings College, Lagos fetched him a scholarship from British Petroleum, BP, to study Mechanical Engineering in the United Kingdom where he graduated with a First-Class Honours degree.

Engineering in the United Kingdom where he graduated with a First Class Honours degree. He also won the United Kingdom Institution of Mechanical Engineers prize for best project that year.
His career started with Unipetrol Nigeria Plc, where he rose to become the Managing Director of Stallion Properties, a joint venture with NNPC. He has held several leadership and board positions in the public and private sectors and is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.
He is the founder and Chairman of Lubcon Group, the first indigenous Lubricant blending company in Nigeria to be ISO certified. The group has interests in oil and gas, financial services, construction, hospitality and several sectors of the economy. It also operates in Nigeria, Ghana and Ethiopia.
Engr Jani is an alumnus of the Prestigious National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Kuru and the Harvard Business School.
Engineer Jani Ibrahim is an accomplished Engineer. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering and was a member of the Regulatory Council of COREN (Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria).
He is a recipient of the National Honour, Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).
The Director General while introducing the fellows the National Policy Fellow designation is the highest recognition of the Abuja Chamber’s National Policy and Advocacy Centre (NPAC). It is conferred on eminent personalities who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, exemplary service, and a strong commitment to advancing national economic security, trade, investment, and sustainable growth in Nigeria.
This recognition follows a rigorous process of nomination and review by our selection committee, with consideration given to professional achievements, contributions to economic and national development, reputation, and dedication to the ideals of good governance, policy reform, and business advancement.
Today, I am pleased to present the 2025 nominees for this prestigious fellowship:
