NAMA and Ekiti State Government Seal Partnership for Air Traffic Service at New Airport

In a landmark agreement, the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) and the Ekiti State Government have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to ensure the smooth takeoff of the newly established Ekiti State Agro-Allied International Cargo Airport in Ado-Ekiti.
The MOU, signed at NAMA’s headquarters in Lagos, outlines a joint responsibility and standard for air traffic control services, marking a shared dedication to excellence and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
NAMA’s Managing Director, Engr Farouk Ahmed Umar, described the agreement as a symbol of action, cooperation, and shared vision, emphasizing the importance of upholding the highest standards of quality and performance.
Ekiti State Secretary, Dr Habibat Adubiaro, represented the state governor and expressed optimism that the cargo airport would boost tourism, facilitate smoother air travel, and contribute to economic growth and job creation.
The partnership aims to leverage NAMA’s expertise and resources to achieve effective air traffic management systems and ensure the highest standards of safety for all airspace users.
