Training, Re-Training Of Staff Is Sine-Qua-Non To Productivity, Excellence- Abike Erewa

Chairman/CEO, Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa has said that Training and Re-training of staff is sine-qua-non to productivity and excellence.
The NiDCOM Chairman said this during a Five-Day Induction Course for Staff of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, (NIDCOM) in Abuja, imploring staff of the Commission to be ready for the challenges ahead.
In a release made available by Mr Gabriel Odu of Media, Public Relations and Protocols, the NIDCOM boss said that they should work together to achieve the task of building a better Nigeria.
“Mr President has given us this task and we must work together to achieve and build a better Nigeria “, she said, stressing that the Commission is ready to work with all the staff by identifying their individual strengths and weaknesses.
Meanwhile, the Secretary of the Commission, Dr. Sule Yakubu Bassi urged the staff to put in their best and build their career aligning with the mission and vision of the Commission.
The Induction programme later broke into Technical sessions with experts spotlighting on NiDCOM’s Administrative Structure Component, Peoples Element/
The Induction also looked at the Diaspora phenomenon putting into perspectives defining a Nigerian Diaspora as a migrant living legitimately and legally continuously at least for one year, holder of Nigerian passport, with a verifiable address and contributing to National Development.
