The University of Calabar (Unical), has denied a fake online advertisement calling for recruitment into various positions in the University.

As shocking as this maybe, it is no longer new to the University as some idle minds have made it a point of duty to continuously manufacture fake news and serve unsuspecting members of the public.

Members of the public are encouraged to entirely disregard these fake news merchants who are obviously enemies of the University.

The University of Calabar has said there is no recruitment of staff in any capacity yet, and where need be, it shall be made known to the public through a due process.

It should be abundantly clear that the Administration of Prof. Florence Banku Obi is highly committed to rendering excellent university education and robust infrastructural drive in the University.
