Vote For Leaders That Have Vision And Courage- Udensi

Nigerians have been urged to vote and elect leaders at all level of governance that have visions, courage and ideologies that would advance the socio-economy development of the country.
APGA Gubernatorial Candidate in Abia state,Chief Chikwe Udensi made the call when the executives of FCT National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja.
Chief Udensi explained that when the right people are in power, growth and development will be improved and youth restiveness as well as other social vices would be reduced.
“We require men of visions, courage,leaders with directions and not party loyalist to bring the desired change.
“Am not entering this job unprepared” he said
Chief Udensi advocated for enormous social work especially in rural areas to help reduced social vices; “We have left the foundation and treating the problem at the surface”.
On Women issues in his manifesto, The Gubernatorial candidate said there will be a level playing ground for all irrespective of gender with the capability and capacity, noting that no affirmative action in his governance.
“My position is no affirmative action but carry everyone along who is capable”
“If l become the Governor of Abia State because the 70 percent of the race is done by God and 30 percent is human, and you cannot do this job and forget God factor if you do you fail”
On Agriculture, the APGA Flag bearer said the problem is not in production but preservation of farm produce of which his government will give adequate attention.
“Let us find ways of preserving our farm Produce and access road in transporting them from farm to market”
“Abia state has been bedeviled by bad leadership, various past governments have been unfair to the people of Abia”
“You cannot manage money if you cannot create wealth
Chief Udensi who is also the Sole System Consultant on Interpol in Nigeria, while speaking on his Educational plans said his govt would revive the 6-3-3-4 system of education to ensure students have a skill before finishing secondary schools.
“The problems of our country are enormous but not unsurmountable.
“Today go to villages, no more electricians,barbers but okada riders everywhere”
The Governorship candidate urged INEC to live up to expectation in conducting peaceful and credible elections also called on media professionals to reach out for news and be objective in their reportage
In her remark, the Chairperson of NAWOJ FCT Chapter, Comrade Stella Okoh-Esene reiterated the commitments of the association in collaborating with individuals, corporate organisations etc aimed at advancing the course of women and children.
She commended the effort of Chief Udensi in alleviating the plights of the widows through his foundation and expressed optimism that the already established relationship with association will yield more positive results.
