Usani Usani wins PRP Guber Primaries

It seems Usani Uguru Usani will have an opportunity to actualize his long dream of being the Executive Governor of Cross River State after the former Niger Delta Affairs Minister emerged the Gubernatorial Candidate of the People’s Redemption Party, PRP in Cross River State for the March 2023 general elections.

In a primary election conducted over the weekend at the respective Party Secretariats in Calabar, Cross River State, Pastor Usani garnered an overwhelming support to emerge the winner.

While accepting the nomination, He commended Party members for trooping out for him especially as the country was, “in an era where people will not do anything except there is Naira and Dollar to induce them.”

He pledged to work hard to ensure victory at the polls and stressed that the time for the youths to lead was now as those in power had led Cross River backwards.

Recall that Usani Usani, a former All Progressives Congress APC stalwart and former Gubernatorial Aspirant, left the Party after he felt marginalized by the internal working of the Party
