TOKYO OLYMPICS 2020: LAST BATCH OF TEAM NIGERIA ARRIVES ABUJA

The last batch of Team Nigeria to the Tokyo Olympics games in Japan landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Intertional Airport, Abuja- Nigeria, yesterday in company of some staff of the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development.

The athletes and officials touched down exactly 1:45pm local time on Thursday, and were welcomed by well wishers of the country.

Team Nigeria were colourful on arrival and many of the athletes are very happy to be back in the country after an impressive outing at the Tokyo Olympics Games.

Many of the athletes expressed joy at the opportunity given to them to represent their country at the Olympics.

Few days ago, the nation’s medalists (Ese Brume) bronze and (Blessing Oborududu) silver were the first to athletes to received a huge welcome from fans, families and friends when they arrived.
