Trust your idea enough to know that it can challenge the status quo.

It is inline with this that a global organisation that supports the world’s leading social entrepreneurs, Ashoka and its partners have put in place necessary lines of action in preparation to launch the movement “Everyone a Change maker” in Abuja with a view to sharing ideas, strategies and build trust among their revolutionary core of co-leaders and enabling cross-cutting relationship and networking among partners .

The Venture and Fellowship manager, Anglophone West Africa, Ashoka Africa, Mr Ikenna Anyadike said the essence of the movement is because they believe that the world will surely be a much better place where every Nigerian, every African and everyone world -over realises and owns their power to contribute to the common good of all.

He said to realise the vision, the media, TV and all must play a frontline role as champions of each movement,as media partnership is key.

Speaking further he said,
“Ashoka, is a global organisation that supports the world’s leading social entrepreneurs, has officially launched the Everyone A Change maker (EACH), Movement in Nigeria. The EACH movement will be implemented in six Metro areas in Nigeria, including Lagos (which was held May, 11th,2022) Abuja (is slated for June,23rd), Enugu is slated for July 28th, Port Harcourt and Yola will be communicated on a later date

Ashoka is out to identify changemakers who have empathy for others and are driven by the genuine goal of making the world a better place, he added

He urged people to give themselves the permission to do something about a social problem, and keep trying until they have made a difference.

Ikenna urged Africans especially the young ones to show the world they are not here to just pass through, leave great footprints wherever you pass and be remembered for the change you initiated.

The Changemaker Movement is rooted in the belief that the youth of today must stand with and speak up for the youth of tomorrow . You are not too young to be a change maker he added.
