Strategic Collaboration Drives Nigeria’s Agricultural Mechanization Agenda Forward

 

The leadership of the Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers (NIAE), led by Prof. Joseph C. Adama, alongside Prof. S. Z. Abubakar of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), were warmly received in a strategic engagement focused on national agricultural development.

The meeting provided a productive platform for discussions on strengthening collaboration between relevant stakeholders to advance sustainable mechanization and accelerate agricultural transformation across the country in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Sen. Abubakar Kyari, Hon. Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, expressed deep appreciation for the visit and for the kind congratulations extended on the election as Chairperson of the IFAD Governing Council, noting the importance of continued partnership in driving reforms.

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to sustained cooperation aimed at improving productivity, enhancing innovation, and building a more resilient and modern agricultural sector that benefits farmers and the nation at large.
