STAFF PROMOTION: NIMASA Abuja Zonal Office Celebrates 22 Employees
The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Abuja Zonal Office today celebrated 22 members of staff who were promoted to various positions.
The celebration which is also marked as the end of the year party of the Agency to celebrate health and safety of staff in the face of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) which crippled activities in the country and the world at large.
During his speech at the Party in Abuja, the Deputy Director/ Coordinator, Abuja Zonal Office, Musa Zailani Attah was thankful to God for his promotion to the Zonal Office.
He urged the staff to be receptive to good working environment, and also called for unity among the staff.
“I feel delighted to be posted here and pray that we will continue the good work we started. Let’s make this place lovely to continue working.
“This is just the beginning and in January we will have a new year party. I feel we need this to unwind so that everyone will feel a sense of belonging. I want us to be close together and enjoy this evening.
“I wish and pray that we enjoy ourselves, and I also wish that we will continue in the spirit of togetherness”, Musa he stated.
Speaking the Assistant Director, National Assembly, Idris Ibrahim gave a good will message noting that such activity which has not been done before to place because the Coordinator wanted them to do things differently
“We are happy to be here. This thing that has started has not been done before, but the coordinator wants us to do things differently. Thank God for those promoted and I hope there will be more promotions”, he remarked.
Also speaking, the Chief Public Relations Officer Mrs. Chukwudi Chika, said the gathering was to thank God for the promotion.
She appreciated the NIMASA management for giving them the opportunity to write the exam and be promoted.
“We are here to thank God for the promotion and we appreciate the management for giving us the opportunity to write the exam and be promoted.
“We say thank you to our Coordinator, he came here with a pattern and changed the whole place. He sees us as one family.
“I say cheers to all the promoted staff and to all the Abuja Zonal office”, she concluded.
