SENATOR ODEY LAVISHES GIFTS ON PEOPLE

Senator Stephen Odey PhD, the current Chairman of the Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board in Nigeria, on Friday, March 18, 2022 expressed his appreciations to the good people of Okani Clan in Yache Ward, Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State over their overwhelming support for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Jude Ogbeche Ngaji in the just concluded Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency By-election.
The gathering, which attracted notable chiefs, elders, illustrious sons and daughters of the clan, witnessed the gifts of car, motorcycles, sewing machines and wrappers to the supprters
He used the opportunity of the event to specially pour encomium on women of Okani for their uncommon resilience and steadfastness in the mobilization of voters during the just concluded By-election where the APC coasted to victory winning in all the Polling Units in Yache Nation.
The Okani Clan is very unique to Senator Odey because, it is his second home and mother’s birthplace.
The people were surprised with rain of gifts as one Mr. Paul Ogene received the gift of a new Toyota-mini bus, over 12 motorcycles and sewing machines were also distributed to other committed supporters including Youths and women. The Okani committed women were given rolls of wrappers in appreciations for their dogged support.
The people of Okani Clan, comprising Osina and Mbuo were full of excitement and are happy with the exemplary leadership of Sen. Dr. Odey as they further assured him of their continued support, loyalty and commitment.
