Sen. Otu names Efa Chairman of Akpabuyo Traditional Rulers Council

The Cross River State Governor, His Excellency, Sen. Bassey Otu has confirmed the appointment of HRH Etinyin Francis Effiom Edem Efa as the Acting Paramount Ruler and Chairman of Akpabuyo Traditional Rulers Council.
This was made known in a release signed by and made public by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Nsa Gill on Thursday, 18th April.
According to the statement, Efa, who’s the Clan Head of Esuk Mba Clan and the eldest Clan Head in the area will sustain a peaceful coexistence in the Local Government Area.
“By the approval of His Excellency, the Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Edet Otu, the Clan Head of Esuk Mba Clan in Akpabuyo Local Government Area, HRH Etinyin Francis Effiom Edem Efa has been appointed the acting Paramount Ruler and Chairman of the Akpabuyo Traditional Rulers Council.”
It added that the appointment takes immediate effect.
It further added that “His Excellency the Governor looks up to a sustained peaceful coexistence in the local government area as well as an atmosphere of healthier communal ties among residents and indigene. Godspeed in your assignment!”
