QATAR 2022: Angry fans invade pitch

There were ugly scenes at the Moshood Abiola international Stadium in Abuja as some fans of the Nigeria national team, the Super Eagles invaded the pitch and venting their frustrations vandalizing some of the properties in the Stadium.
This happened after the Super Eagles failed to qualify for the Fifa Mundial in Qatar.

Recall that the Black Stars of Ghana pipped yheor Nigerian counterparts on away goals’ in a tense encounter.

Fortunately, it happened after the players and officials had already exited the Stadium.

The stadium facility was renovated by renowned businessman, Aliko Dangote and it cost $1,000,000 ( #415,000,000)
As at the time of this report, there was no official statement from either the Nigeria Football Federation or the Ministry of Youths and Sports.
