Public Institution to engage in implementation of IT regulatory instrument

Technology has proven over the years to be the key driver of institutional reforms globally.
The Director General, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) Dr. Isah Ali Ibrahim Pantami  on Thursday March 28, at a seminar organized by the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), in Abuja has called on ministries and  Agencies to boost compliance to standard for government websites, to perform the broader functions of conducting research on reform implementation efforts and providing best practice models across the public service.
The Director General,  Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) Mr.  D. I. Arabi in his remark said that ” the Bureau is organizing this all important  seminar to provide the platform and educate public servants on the activities of National Information Technology Development Agency, with emphasis on the need for active engagement of public institutions in the implementation of IT Regulatory instruments in Nigeria”.
He called for active engagement of public institutions, Agencies to start the implementation of IT regulation in all the ministries in Nigeria.
