Obong Of Calabar, Dr Asibong and others Knighted

The Obong of Calabar, His Eminence, Edidem Ekpo Okon Otu Abasi V( KSM), the Cross River State, Commissioner of International Development Cooperation, Dr Inyang Asibong and other prominent Nigerians were inducted into the Knight of Saint Muluba Order in recognition of their excellent service to God and humanity.

Receiving the Award on behalf of Dr Asibong , Mr Esu Coco- Bassey Esu , Senior Special Assistant , International Development Cooperation thanked the Knight of St Muluba, Nigeria Emmanuel Sub – Council for recognizing her among the eminent Nigerians adding that it is a motivation to serve God and humanity with passion and Grace.

In the welcome Address by the Grand Knight of Emmanuel Sub – Council, Bro (Ntufam Dr) Joseph Edet called on people to help in consolidating the past and securing the future by building a retirement home for Priests, religious protocols and the inauguration of the Youth of Saint Muluba.

Other recipients of the Award were Hon Esther Bassey, Calabar South Local Government Chairman, Prof Florence Obi, Vice -Chancellor of the University of Calabar, High Chief Eugene Akeh (MON), Sir Joseph Adie, Sir Francis Asuquo (KSM), Dr Marcel Agim, Hon Amb Sunny Abang, Sir Anthony Udenze, Sir Dr Alfred Mboto (KSM) , Mr Akpanke Ogar, Sir Dr Ikechukwu Ukweh (KSC) , Sir Dr Maurice Okon Ibok (KSJI) ,Sir Emmanuel Ezenwenyi (KSM) ,Hon Martins Orim and Hon Linus Bassey.
