The President, Nigerian Youth Congress, Blessing Akinlosotu has charged NGOs and Philanthropists to encourage the less privileged in the society through inclusive empowerment programs and the likes to curb crime.

Akinlosotu made the statement yesterday 17 January 2021 at the
Emir of Zazzau’s Palace in Zaria Local Government Area of Kaduna State, while the leadership of Sarauniya Girl Child Care Foundation, led by the Deputy President-NYC, Barr. Aysha Ahmad Mohammed who doubles as the coverner for the distribution of Palliatives to the Orphanage at the Palace took an overwhelming accolade.

Earlier, the media has reported that Sarauniya Girl Child Care Foundation, an NGO, has officially written the President, Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC), Blessing Akinlosotu, inviting him to graze its event, SAGFODA 2020 Orphans Palliative Distribution in Kaduna state as Special Guest on the 17th January 2021.

Reacting to the invite in the media, he assured the foundation of his presence and support.

However, the Foundation’s fundamental focus which is serving humanity and building a credible future for Nigeria by ensuring that the less privileged child has access to quality education and basic care gave a different perspective of what NGOs should be known for.

The President who applauded the Emir of Zazzau, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ahmad Nuhu Bamali thanked him for his fatherly gesture toward the Foundation by allowing such a historic event to take place in his Palace and render all supports needed to make sure the event is hitch-free.

Similarly, he commended the initiative of the NGO, urging others and philanthropists in Nigeria to emulate Sarauniya Girl Child Care Foundation in helping the less privileged for the development of Nigeria.
