NSCDC NASARAWA STATE COMMAND: Comdt Abdullahi charges ACs, DOs to rededicate themselves and show utmost commitment

The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nasarawa State Command, Comdt., Ismaila Abdullahi has charged the Area Commanders and Divisional Officers in the state to re-double their commitment and effort in the discharge of their mandate, in the various area Commands and Divisional Offices in the State.
While addressing the Area Commanders and Divisional Officers at the Command Headquarters in Lafia the State Capital, he vehemently warned against sharp practices that will tarnish the good image the Corps have invested in, for a long time. The Nigerian citizens have total trust in you, please don’t disappoint them.
In his words, the Corps under the leadership of *Ahmed Abubakar Audi PhD, mni, OFR* have invested alot to have the good name for the Corps following the trusts and confidence the public bestow on us. Transparency, ethics and values and professionalism should be your watchword, it is going to be slanderous, derogatory, aspersive and calumniatory of any of you to be found wanting. You must at all times show utmost commitment and dedication, in discharging your mandate. Power lines and installations, and other Critical National Assets and Infrastructure within your locality must be protected at all times.
The State Commandant Ismaila Abdullahi said, it is pertinent to synergise with other security outfits including the Vigilante and Hunters Association for intelligence gathering and dissemination, don’t work as an island, he warned.
In conclusion, the Commandant expressed his confidence in the officers’ ability to fulfill their duties with utmost professionalism and called for their unwavering commitment to the principles and values of the NSCDC. He encouraged them to approach their duties with diligence, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility towards the communities they serve. The Commandant also commended the officers for their dedication and sacrifice, and encouraged them to continue to uphold the highest standards of professionalism in performing their duties.
The Lafia Area Commander, ACC SO Adeleke thanked the Commandant on behalf of the Area Commanders and Divisional Officers, in his words, ‘ we will give you 100 percent, nothing short of that. He expressed his joy, for the Commandant to organized the first Area Commanders And Divisional Officers meeting, barely four weeks, after assuming office as the 9th substantive Commandant of the NSCDC in Nasarawa State, we will do as cautioned sir, he concluded.
