NSC Boss Emerges BMG 2018 Man Of The Year

The executive secretary/CEO of the Nigerian Shippers Council, Barrister Hassan Bello, is to receive the prestigious BMG man of the year award for 2018.

This award is presented to chief executives of federal government agencies and those in the private sector, whose services impact heavily on the economy.

According to the editorial board of BMG, the award followed a careful but comprehensive audit of the first port of call for shippers with genuine complaints while seeking solutions to their import/export problems.

The editorial board further stated that under the regime of Bello, the impunity of international shipping companies has come under serious scrutiny as most arbitrary charges have been reversed thereby adding value to the Ease of Doing Business at the ports.

‘’With all these sterling achievements in the maritime industry, Hassan Bello deserves this prestigious award, hence the board decided to honour him as this could spur other chief executives to emulate his hard work,’’ the editorial board stated.
