NIPOST Assures Public Of Quality Service Delivery

The public has been assured of a seamless delivery of reliable postal service in line with best practices.
This was stated in a press release made available to News Dot Africa by the General Manager of the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST), Mr Fank Alao at Abuja yesterday.
According to Frank, “Service excellence is the Motto of NIPOST and it has equally become its watch word.  NIPOST Management in its drive towards achieving excellence in service delivery established the National Mail Route Network which criss-crosses the country on a daily basis conveying mails to their destination for final delivery on last mile delivery; this scheme was hugely successful.”
He noted that management deployed 200 power bikes to strategic locations to guarantee a hitch free last mile delivery.
He revealed that there is also a backup plan to the National Mail Route system which was put in place to ensure that come rain, come shine, mails continue to move in case of any hiccup and to avoid a total collapse of its operations. All these measures were aimed at meeting the promised delivery time of 72 hours within Nigeria.
“NIPOST has been able to keep its promise to customers without any break in its operation. Thus, the recent withdrawal of services by our National Mail Routes partners did not collapse our operations as wrongly insinuated in a section of the Media”, he added.
Recall that recently NIPOST has launched a lot of products and has continued to maintain it offices and operations across the country even in areas where there is obvious security challenges.
