NIGERAN CATHOLIC AUXILIARY BISHOP REGAINS FREEDOM

The Auxiliary Bishop of Owerri Achdiocese, Rev. Fr. Moses Chikwe who was abducted by unknown gunmen on Sunday December 27 along New Owerri in Imo State Nigeria, has been released.
News Dot Africa gathered that Chikwe was released in a sting operation conducted by men of the Imo state police command.
Though details of his release are still sketchy the Command’s spokesman, SP Orlando Ikeokwu confirmed his release.
He said Chikwe and his driver were released “unhurt, without ransom, sequel to a sting operation by the men of the Imo State Police Command.
Recall that the bishop and his driver were abducted on Sunday December 27 along New Owerri.
