The National Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Mrs Madinat Adigun-Oladotun, has received the Distinguished Communication Award from The Press Society (TPS) in recognition of her excellence in communication, advocacy and stakeholder management.

Adigun-Oladotun was honoured at the maiden media sensitisation workshop and awards ceremony organised by TPS in Lagos on Thursday, with the theme, “Balancing Creativity and Ethics in the Era of Artificial Intelligence.”

The award, according to the organisers, recognises her professionalism and outstanding contributions to business communication, advocacy and stakeholder engagement, as well as her commitment to mentoring young professionals in the media and communications industry.

Beyond her role as NACCIMA’s National PRO, Adigun-Oladotun is the Managing Director of Trendsville Media Limited, a communication and branding firm with offices in Abuja, Lagos and Ilorin.

She is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), and has held leadership positions in several professional associations.

Since assuming her role as NACCIMA National PRO, her communication efforts have contributed to strengthening the association’s visibility in the media, particularly around its advocacy initiatives, trade missions, partnerships and other local and international engagements.

The award was received on her behalf by her mentee, event host and television presenter, Ms Aramide Ogunkoya.
Ogunkoya conveyed Adigun-Oladotun’s appreciation to TPS for the recognition, describing it as an encouragement to deepen her commitment to professional communication, stakeholder management and service to humanity.
