Minister of State for Industry, Senator John Owan Enoh, Launch MSMEs Support Program in Cross River State

As part of a bold move to bolster and strengthen entrepreneurship in Cross River State, the Honourable Minister of State for Industry, Senator John Owan Enoh-JOE , will on Friday, August 29th, 2025, officially unveil the “Owan-Enoh MSMEs Support Program.”
According his Special Assistant on Media and Political Communications, Ms Odenke Ibiang, the program is designed to foster inclusive economic growth and drive innovation among entrepreneurs, particularly women and youths, across the state. Through this initiative, eligible businesses and startups owned by Cross Riverians, as well as non-indigenes doing business in the state, will gain access to grants ranging from ₦100,000 to ₦500,000.
Speaking on the initiative, Senator Enoh emphasised that empowering local entrepreneurs is key to unlocking the vast industrial and commercial potential of Cross River. By providing direct financial support and empowerment materials, the program aims to reduce barriers for small businesses, encourage job creation, and stimulate sustainable development within communities.
Entrepreneurs and startups are encouraged to prepare and position themselves to take advantage of this unique opportunity.
