MAGUIRE BOOED AT WEMBLEY

England defender and Manchester United Skipper Harry Maguire was booed by fans in the international friendly between England and Ivory coast at Wembley on Tuesday.

The fans of the Three Lions didn’t waste time to voice their displeasure with Maguire who has had a difficult spell on the pitch as his games have been characterised by errors which sometimes, have led to goals.
England skipper harry Kane and Manager, Gareth Southgate slammed the fans for not ‘supporting one of their own’.
“The fact that he’s been brilliant on the pitch and given us all so many great memories makes it even harder to understand. He doesn’t deserve that reception. He’s got full support in the changing room and should have the same from every England fan”… Kane said.

The match saw the English side stroll to a 3-0 victory against the Elephants of Ivory Coast but it was the gesture of the fans that clearly made the headlines.
There have been calls for the Maguire to be dropped to the bench at United but it seems he still gets picked in the starting line up.
