Mr Azure took participants through the rudiments of Investigative Journalism using his personal experience and background. While explaining the process of Investigative Journalism, Manasseh said that the advent of social media provides regular story lines that can be Investigated.
He also said that hypothesis and staying focus on the hypothesis is important for the investigative journalist, but flexibility should be applied where necessary.
He urged Journalists that want to go into Investigative Journalism to build on self motivation, integrity, humility, and information network.
Manasseh Azure worked with Multimedia Group Limited in Accra, Ghana. He came into lime light through his investigative and anti-corruption reports that has led some government officials to prison.
