INEC Begins ToT Training for Continuous Voter Registration in Anambra State

The Electoral Institute (TEI), in collaboration with the Voter Registry and Information/Communication Technology departments of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has commenced a Training of Trainers (ToT), program for the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR), exercise. The training is in preparation for the CVR starting on July 8, 2025, in Anambra State.
The training objective include to quipe trainers with necessary skills for CVR, enabling them to cascade knowledge to trainees in respective local government areas.
Twenty- Six (26), trainers, including supervisors, are participating in the training program. The CVR exercise is set to begin on July 8, 2025, in Anambra State, ahead of the November 8 governorship election.
The training is part of INEC’s efforts to ensure a smooth and successful CVR exercise. The commission has emphasized the importance of voter registration in the electoral process, and this training is a crucial step in preparing trainers for their roles.
