FOOTBALL: Red hot Osimhen lights up the Champions League

Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen was the hero of the game as he continues his imperious form Infront of the goal by grabbing a brace as Napoli cruised into the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time with a comfortable win over Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Luciano Spalletti- led side had gotten two goals from the first leg, but it was the Nigerian striker’s thumping header in first-half that dispelled any lingering nerves at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
He then doubled the Italians’ lead on the night with a close-range finish from Giovanni di Lorenzo’s cross.
The red hot striker who has scored 23 goals in 28 games for Napoli this season wasn’t done as he was brought down in the box and Piotr Zielinski converted the penalty to make it 3-0.
Napoli already have a commanding 18-point lead at the top of Serie A and they now head into the last eight with a chance to win the top prize in European football.
