Former Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo has won his first ever league title after he helped Al Hilal secure their 18th league triumph.

The 33 year old scored twice to help Al Hilal defeat Al Faisaly 2-1 to clinch the Saudi Arabian Professional League title.

An elated Ighalo took to his social media page to explain how happy he was by saying, “I waited 17 years before winning my first league title, it doesn’t matter how long it takes, if you keep working hard and never give up, you will get it right one day. God is the greatest”. He posted on his Facebook page.

To cap it all, he scooped the leading poacher award for the season courtesy of his 24 league goals of the season.
