FOOTBALL: Gov. Udom Purchases All CAF Cup Final Tickets, Distributes Free To Fans

In a bid to drive fans’ presence for the much anticipated TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup final at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo in Nigeria, the Akwa-Ibom State Governor, His Excellency, Udom Emmanuel has purchased the tickets for the historic match coming up on Friday, May 20, 2022.

This was the statement of the Chairman, Local Organizing Committee (LOC) and Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Sir Monday Uko.

He also added that Governor Udom directed that the already purchased tickets should be distributed to fans free of charge.

The LOC said that fans can get the tickets at all the ticket booths at Godswill Akpabio International stadium, premises of all radio stations in the state and Akwa United Club House.

Orlando Pirates of the Republic of South Africa and Renaissance Sportive de Berkane of Morocco will be facing off for the first time for the right to be crowned champions of Africa’s second biggest club football competition.
