Dr Obinna calls for promotion of domestic and west Africa Tourism

On Wednesday, 1st November 2023, A private person in charge of Everything Hospitality and Tourism Services Nig Ltd, Abuja, Dr. Obinna Ugochukwu Alexander Onyeocha visited the Gambia High commission (Embassy) in Abuja.

Dr Obinna Ugochukwu in his courtesy visit to the Gambian High commission harps on the lack and possible keys in promoting Domestic and Eco-Tourism in West Africa and call for collaboration.

Still speaking, Dr  Obinna said he has deemed it fit to use the ample time in visiting all Africa countries through their embassies and relate with their Representatives on how to give Africa a face in tourism before the 3rd edition of National conference for Domestic and Ecotourism in Nigeria slated for November, 2023.

In response, the High commissioner of Gambia to Federal Republic of Nigeria, Extraordinary Plenipotentiary Mohammadou Musa Njie applauded the initiative and introduced his Deputy whom he said is in a better position to discuss Tourism as he was the Traditional Head of Tourism Gambia.

The Deputy High Commissioner and Head of Chancery, Abdoulie Hydara who stated his concerns about Nigeria domestic tourism is that Nigeria is a booming country but not structured. He further used the Nigerian airport services and hotels adding in his analysis that their services are undefined.
