Delegate, But delegate wisely

Mike Ihezuo
Delegation helps you to free up your time to do others things you wouldn’t have been able to do due to time challenge. It is a good management practice BUT in spite of avalanche of things you can delegate in life and career to free up more time and energy for yourself, there are 8 things you can’t delegate. They’re:
 *Health*
 *Parenting*
 *Confidence*
 *Goal Setting*
 *Your Purpose*
 *Relationships*
 *Spiritual Condition*
 *Personal Development*
These 8 things you (please take them extremely serious), ONLY YOU CAN DO. Also I teach people *DON’T DELEGATE WHAT DEFINES YOU* (YOUR PERSON.)
This is what I mean:
1. if you’re the CEO of a workplace, don’t delegate the FUNCTION to the best of your subordinates. Leadership get conscience, BUT Power does not get conscience, and this is a power thing.
2. if you’re a husband, don’t delegate your FUNCTION as a husband to your best friend or kid brother. Emotions are not educated or cultured. Cleaner, Gardner or Driver has same rod as you.
3. if you’re a wife, don’t delegate your wife FUNCTION to a trusted maid, kid sister or best. Emotions neither get class nor civilized. All hole na hole!
4. if you’re accountant or financial director, don’t delegate your signing of money or cheques to a faithful junior. The person with the cash can hire any lawyer to defend him and you languish in prison.
Hmmmmm.
Delegate things that the outcome, whether spoilt or not, will not be of much negative consequence to you. AFTER ALL, YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OUTCOME OF WHAT YOUR DELEGATE GETS FOR YOU, WHETHER GOOD OR BAD.
That’s why you can’t delegate knowledge: seeking knowledge for yourself.
When a thing involves;
* YOUR personal development*,
* YOUR purpose*, and
* YOUR goals*;
Don’t delegate, for you can’t use your best friend’s or your spouse’s genital to urinate as a show of love, for the person not to bother to go to toilet. Many things in life are like that in life. They are: you must *DO IT YOURSELF* (DIY) thing.
