Dabiri-Erewa Hails CROSSJOF for Unveiling Panorama, Pledges Partnership  ‎

‎Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) has applauded the Cross River State Journalists’ Forum (CROSSJOF), Abuja, for the successful launch of its new publication, the *Panorama Magazine* , describing it as a significant contribution to strengthening Diaspora reportage in Cross River State, Nigeria and the global Diaspora Community.

‎Speaking at the strategic meeting between NiDCOM and CROSSJOF, Dabiri-Erewa commended the group for its innovation and commitment to promoting credible, impacful, development-focused journalism.

‎She noted that the new publication has the potential to become a key platform for highlighting diaspora activities, showcasing achievements and driving meaningful conversations around national development.

‎The NiDCOM Boss equally applauded the leadership of Mrs. Francisca Ogar, Chairman, CROSSJOF, stating that her role reflects the rising influence and competence of women in media leadership across the country.

‎Dabiri-Erewa stressed that the Commission is ready to support platforms that amplify diaspora engagement at the federal, state and local levels, especially here in Cross River State.

‎In her remarks, Mrs. Ogar expressed gratitude to Hon. Dabiri-Erewa for her consistent encouragement of media organisations and her unwavering support for diaspora-related initiatives. She noted that this support has motivated Cross River State to strengthen its own diaspora structures, including the recent inauguration of the Cross River State Diaspora Commission (CRIDCOM), headed by a pioneer staff of NIDCOM, Mr Otu Okor in September.

‎Mrs. Ogar further announced that Panorama Magazine will feature dedicated pages for NiDCOM programmes and activities, ensuring that diaspora stories, engagements, and success narratives receive sustained visibility.

‎Both NiDCOM and CROSSJOF reaffirmed their commitment to building a stronger partnership that will enhance diaspora awareness, promote accurate reportage, and encourage greater participation of Cross River State indigenes and other Nigerian Diasporas in global development conversations.
