CRSG Suspends Civil Servants recruitment

The Governor of Cross River State has ordered the suspension of civil servants recruitment going on in the state till further notice.
This is contained in a press release signed by Emmanuel Ogbeche, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor stated that the directive which was given on Tuesday was to allow civil servants subject themselves to screening and proper documentation in the office of the secretary to the State government in a yet to be fix date.
Ogbeche also said that the Governor Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, has approved the comprehensive reverification of civil servants.
He noted that it is in line with the Cross River State government’s desire to reposition the state civil service to meet modern day service delivery objectives, as well as to enable the government to plan effectively for the overall good of our hardworking civil servants.
