The All Progressives’ Congress (APC), in Cross River State had congratulated Sen. Bassey Otu on his victory at the Federal High Court sitting in Calabar which affirmed his Gubernatorial Candidacy for the upcoming Elections.
In a release signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Erasmus Ekpang, he noted that the decision and judgment of the court on Monday October 24, 2022 is a win-win for the Party in the State and the Country at large, putting an end to all the disputes and controversies surrounding the Party’s Governorship Primary Elections and possibly establishing unanimity between all aggrieved members of the Party.
It is worth noting that both Sen. Bassey Otu and Sen. John Owan Enoh remain treasured Party faithfuls to us and the ruling of the Federal High Court can be described as a ‘no victor, no vanquished’ judgment.
“We, as a law-abiding Political Party, will always strive to embrace all and sundry into the Party’s big marquee, promoting justice and fairness.
To this end, while we salute the courage of Sen. John Owan Enoh, we call on him and his supporters to sheath their swords and join hands in unity to coast the Party and its Candidates into victory come 2023 polls.
Conclusively, we thank all the members, leaders, teeming supporters, and well-wishers of our great Party, the All Progressives Congress cut across every sentiment for their cooperation through these very transparent democratic processes.” he said
